Carol Bodine

Carol Ann Bodine, age 70, of Stratford, CT passed away in the early hours of December 28, 2023. Originally from Fairfield, CT she was known for her outgoing and straightforward sense of humor. She was an avid lover of birds and master of crossword puzzles. An accomplished cook for “the rich and famous,” she took pride in serving great meals. She will be remembered for her strong maternal nature and generous heart. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Ruth Bodine. She is survived by her loving boyfriend of many years Thomas Botha; 2 daughters Sarah and Kelly Ganley; 4 siblings Susan Buckley, William Bodine, Elizabeth Hsiao and Thomas Bodine; and her granddaughter Vivienne Arrowitz. A service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield, CT on Monday January 8, 2024 at 10am. A celebration of her life will be held in mid March, exact details TBD.
